Explore the history of World War I in the Lower Cape Fear region. Historian Jan Davidson will place in historical context the stories of women like U.S. Army nurse Rachel Loman and men like Arthur Bluethenthal and Thomas Bullock, both of whom were casualties of war. Curator Barbara Rowe will then lead a behind the scenes tour of the Museum’s collection showcasing artifacts related to Wilmington during this time of service and sacrifice. 90 minutes.
