Cape Fear Museum Membership Makes Sense

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, N.C. – Cape Fear Museum is hosting a membership drive now through June 30, 2019 and will offer $10 off all membership types. If you are planning to travel this summer season, family membership makes sense for many reasons:

  • Free admission to Cape Fear Museum for up to six individuals
  • Two guest passes to share with family or friends
  • Nationwide reciprocal admission to more than 300 participating museums and science/technology centers through Association of Science-Technology Center (ASTC);
  • Nationwide reciprocal admission to more than 750 participating arts, cultural, historical and children’s museums along with botanical gardens and science and technology centers through North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM);
  • Reciprocal admission to over 175 participating museums through Southeastern Reciprocal Membership Program (SERM);

Museum fundraising efforts are governed by Cape Fear Museum Associates, Inc. (CFMA), a nonprofit 501(c)(3). CFMA’s purpose is to solicit and receive contributions and donations for the Museum. CFMA ensures the success of the Museum through fundraising, grant writing, programs, membership and promoting the Museum’s mission throughout the community.

Cape Fear Museum of History and Science, 814 Market Street, is open Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. General admission will be FREE until further notice. Standard admission prices are $8 for adults; $7 for seniors, students and military with valid ID; $5 for children 6-17; and free for children 5 and under and for museum members.
