Jim Morgan practices law in North Carolina. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from East Carolina University, a Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University School of Law, and a Master of Political Management degree from the George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management in Washington, D.C. He is a Fellow of the North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership and a Certified Parliamentarian.
He is a past president of the Wilmington Jaycees, a past board president of Domestic Violence Shelter & Services, and a past board president of Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity. He also served as Co-Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Law-Related Education Advisory Committee.
Morgan is a past recipient of the North Carolina Jaycees’ One of the Five Outstanding Young North Carolinians award, the North Carolina Bar Association’s Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award, a Governor’s Award for Outstanding Public Service, and Domestic Violence Shelter & Service’s Ambassador of Hope Award.
