WILMINGTON, N.C. – At its annual meeting in June, Cape Fear Museum Associates, Inc. honored retiring board members, elected new officers and one new Board member. Sean Frelke and Chris Thomas retired from the Board. Frelke was recognized for his three years of service and Thomas for six years of service. Samantha Dooies was elected as the new president of the Board, replacing Lori Feezor. Ashley Garner is the new vice-president. Mike Hudson was elected as treasurer and Lynore Young remains as secretary.
Chrystal Fray was elected to each serve a three-year term on the Associates Board. A Raleigh, N.C. native, Fray is a graduate of East Carolina University with a bachelor of arts degree in English and a master of science degree in business management and leadership. She has a successful 27-year career with State Farm Insurance as field consultant and claims representative. Fray is a Silver member of Alpha Kappa Alpha and is a member of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.
