Museum Hosts PNC Maker Mania Family Day
What: Cape Fear Museum is inviting the community to PNC Maker Mania Family Day, an educational afternoon of family fun filled with invention and innovation. This event is made possible by a generous grant from the PNC Foundation’s Grow Up Great initiative. Some of the stations and activities at this FREE family day will include:
- Craft and create with recycled materials
- Artistic circuitry
- Building challenges
- Learn to code with SCRATCH©
- Design and drop a Mars Rover
- Construct with clay
- Design a crown
- Make jewelry to take home
- And more!
When: Saturday, February, 9, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Cape Fear Museum, 814 Market Street, Wilmington
Who: Kids of all ages; adult participation is required
Why: Encourage families to work together, spark curiosity and build enthusiasm for learning while introducing topics related to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
