Cape Fear Museum is dedicated to providing hands on, immersive experiences that allow families, adults, students and teachers to investigate the world around them.

As a part of the National Endowment of the Arts Big Read initiative led by UNCW’s Office of the Arts, Cape Fear Museum is excited to offer in-person readings and bilingual recorded readings of the children’s book, Nino Wrestles the World, from November 2021 through April 2022. Cape Fear Museum will partner with community organizations to distribute 90 copies of Nino Wrestles the World to the surrounding community.

In-person story time at Cape Fear Museum is geared toward 4 to
8-year-old learners. A hands-on activity will follow each story time.
