Imagine your delight and surprise when you encounter Cape Fear Museum’s Science Cycle along Wilmington’s Riverwalk, Carolina Beach Boardwalk, Halyburton Park, Hugh MacRae Park, festivals, parades and more. This mobile program will inspire kids to be curious, think big and experiment by bringing science and hands-on activities to them in outdoor settings.

Events at Cape Fear Museum are included with general admission. All other events are free unless otherwise noted. Check out our upcoming schedule:

  • Saturday, 10/12, 10 AM-2 PM: Fire in the Pines Festival at Halyburton Park
  • Friday, 10/18, 10-11 AM: Fit for Fun Fall Festival (302 S 10th Street)
  • Saturday, 10/19, 9-11 AM: Downtown Wilmington Farmer’s Market (Dock Street)
  • Saturday, 10/26, 9-11 AM: Downtown Wilmington Farmer’s Market (Dock Street)
  • Friday, 11/1, 9-11 AM: Fit For Fun Big Kids Day (ages 5-12, 302 S 10th Street)
